The “preacher” Solomon preaches dramatically
That life is “all vanity, all is vanity!”
While we like to think that all is “sanity”
We will read Ecclesiastes looking for a remedy

Solomon with all his riches and glory
Should be able to tell us the whole story
While life is without question a mixture
Solomon would say, “Keep your courage and texture"

Eat, drink and be merry is a big help
And remember to live faithfully with your spouse
Remember that God s blessings do abound
If we faithfully keep Him around

Solomon lists how God blest him so richly
Telling us not to respond to Him casually
Today is not the last day for us to obey
And God will be meeting us on Judgment day

There is a time and a season for everything
And midst all the troubles a time to sing
The “fear of the Lord” is the key to life
That will enable us to survive all strife.
