A prophet of God for the Kingdom of Israel
Israel had become so ungodly it Was UNREAL
Hosea and family God used like a “flannel board”
To illustrate how far they had moved from the Lord

Hosea was to many a prostitute describing Israel’s case
And their children named to illustrate Israel’s sad state
While Israel had long adopted idolatry out-right
Judah was not far behind with Idolatrous rites

God was sparing nothing to open Israel’s eyes
To what they had accepted were Satan’s lies
God had planned the Messiah to come thru David
They had followed other Kings and continued misbehaving

Hosea describes God’s Love for them thru the years
But Israel was bent to backsliding with very little fear
Such conduct could not go on, they must repent
Or God would be like a lion and they vvouldn’t be Worth “2 cents"

As sinful and ungodly as Israel had become
God still loves them and wants them to “come home”
Hosea concludes; “the Ways of the Lord are right”
And those that walk in His ways are prudent and Wise
