Micah

Micah talks about Samaria and Judah
He appeals to all people, hearken to God’s call
For the sins of Samaria and Jerusalem
The Lord cometh with punishment for them all

They are wamed about neighboring enemies
Hindering the Prophet’s words for to stymie
But God promises to reassemble His People
If only they will refrain from more evil

Micah challenges the princes of Israel
You understand what’s good and what’s evil
But you have been dishonest and deceitful
So Zion will be plowed to a heap full

But in the “last days” good things will happen
The house ofthe Lord will be re-established
Many nations will respond to the God of Jacob
Following His Ways and Words will remake them

While many will continue to worship other gods
We will walk in the name of OUR God
Some adversaries see Zion as a “piece of pie”
They do not know what is in God’s mind’s eye!

Out of Judah and Bethlehem will come a deliverer
Whose power will return the remnant to Israel
The Lord is concemed, will Hisf»blessings be spumed?
Micah cries “Woe is me” feeling lonely and scorned

But thru his tears he sees God’s love and mercy
Who will return and reward righteousness seriously
Yes, God will return and have compassion on us
He will perform the truth and in Him we must trust
