David thanked God for the life he was given
The 23 rd Psalm, as popular as any written

David could draw from many experiences
A lad as a shepherd, a King for decisions

One with great power surrounded with riches
Yet humble and kind and very religious

One who kept God near in his presence
For he often needed God to give him a message

David was so aware of God’s creation
He made it a part of his daily meditation

So beginning with chapter number one
How a man is blessed as he walks on

To the end with chapter one-fifty
To praise the Lord is always fitting
