Zechariah

Zechariah told Judah that God was displeased
Their fathers had done only as they pleased
If they would repent and follow God’s Way
He would see that Jerusalem would have a “hey day”

Zechariah had a vision one night
Of horses colored red, speckled and White
Riders surveying Jerusalem at “rest”
An angel asked God how long will this last?

God had been angry at Judah for seventy years
But was wllling for changes to be near
He would return to Jerusalem with mercies
Comforting Zion with all certainty

An angel is sent to measure Jerusalem over all
Another angel said, Jerusalem would flourish Without Walls
For the Lord said, “I’ll be a wall of tire around her
And I will be the glory within her”

Judah will inherit his portion in the Holy Land
And he will have possession of Jerusalem again
Zechariah describes as many as eight visions
Graphic pictures to help us with our decisions

Zechariah may also be known for Messianic prophecies
